Earlier this year I wrote an article that called out how Grenfell Tower fire – a tragedy that never should have happened – showed how little Black lives matter to the British establishment. Yet the Fire Safety Bill is due to have its Remaining Stages in the Commons today STILL fails to deliver the action needed to secure justice for the Grenfell victims. Thousands of lives are at risk – those in power must act now.
