Yesterday the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Fire Safety and Leasehold & Commonhold Reform met jointly to lobby Minister Greenhalgh.
Those in unsafe and cladded homes don’t just need fire safety protection, they need an end to the anxiety and sleeplessness over the prospects of bankruptcy that now looms over them.
As Michael Mansfield QC (representing Grenfell tragedy victims) also said, 3 years of enquiries and promises needs to come to an end.
We need action by the only body who can solve this – the Government.
