In Tower Hamlets, Support for Learning Services provide early intervention, assessment and support for children with SEND. The proposal to reduce our Support for Learning Service by about 50% will force schools to take on more responsibilities. I have tabled a Parliamentary motion calling on the Government to immediately increase funding levels for SEND services that are being undermined by underfunding and cuts.
