I am delighted to have delivered my maiden speech today [see clip below] during a debate on #InternationalWomensDay – playing tribute to our rich local history of women’s struggles for social justice.
I will fight with all my breath and energy in order to carry on the legacy of those who have gone before me – opposing at every step of the way the broken failed economics that has served only to enrich the few at the expense of the many.
It was an absolute pleasure to host local women in Parliament.
