At the end of every year, I send out a card to hundreds of organisations and groups in the Poplar and Limehouse constituency. This year, I’m inviting young people in Poplar and Limehouse to design it and show off their creativity by entering my Card Competition.
The theme of my competition is ‘Togetherness’.
I’m looking for designs which reflect the spirit of togetherness: being with others, helping one another, connecting with loved ones, and spreading love in our community.
My Card Competition is open to anyone under the age of 18 who lives or goes to school in the constituency. Entries can be hand-drawn or designed on a computer!
There will be a prize for the winner, and runner-up and my favourite design will go out to people across Poplar and Limehouse as my official 2025 card.
I’ll be sharing some of my favourite designs on my social media channels. I will also display everyone’s fantastic designs in my Constituency Office and online so that everyone can see just how talented young people in Poplar and Limehouse are.
The deadline for entries is Monday 17th November and you can submit these via email apsana.begum.mp@parliament.uk (make sure to write “Card Competition 2025” in the subject line or via post (Apsana Begum MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA).
If you’re posting your entry, make sure you post it nice and early! Don’t forget to leave your or your parent/guardian’s contact details so we can reach out to you.

Who can enter? Anyone under the age of 18, who lives in Poplar and Limehouse or goes to a school in the constituency.
