Luxury development after luxury development continues to pop up in Poplar and Limehouse. The Government further empowered developers last week, passing statutes that further deregulate the housing sector at the expense of local people. We know well that social distancing and self-isolation is almost impossible in overcrowded households. Yet these new laws are likely to result in an increase in overcrowding.
